EFI REACCREDITATION IN 2022

The European Federation for Immunogenetics (EFI) Accredita-
tion Programme was established to provide assurance that Histocompatibility &
Immunogenetics laboratories providing services for transplantation, transfusion, and
disease association testing meet the requirements of the specialty specific EFI stan-
dards.

Tissue Typing Compartment in the Institute for Blood Transfusion of Vojvodina has successfully renewed EFI accreditation in 2022 covering clinical categories such as:

-Haematpoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

-Renal and Other Solid Organ Transplantation

-Disease association

-Transfusion

Tissue Typing Compartment is constantly improving it¢s work by introducing modern techniques among which is HLA molecular high resolution typing by Next Generation Sequencing.

All achievements of the Tissue Typing Compartment are aimed at improving the quality of services provided to patients.
